An IP Address is a numerical address that is assigned to a system for the purpose of linking it to the internet. This address is also recognized by servers that use it to respond to the particular device that is connected to the network. Whenever information has to be sent to any device, the devices IP Address is used for sending purposes. It is once again used when information has to be received by the device. As with other IP Address, this private IP Address can be used only once in a network. This means no two devices connected to a particular network can have this IP Address. It can be used again and again, so it can be assigned to routers connected on totally different networks. 192.168.2.1 is set as the default address by device manufacturers.
