NetGear Wireless Routers - Perfect new releases for the People On-the-Go - Computers - Hardware

NetGear, started in 1996, is a US manufacturer providing technologically advanced networking products and well-known for its quality.

Recently NetGear launches the new extensive range of wireless Routers (WNDR3700 & DGND3300) for residential users and small to medium sized businesses. These wireless routers are designed to offer solutions where additional functionality is needed, such as VoIP and secure VPN access.

NetGear released the Dual Band Wireless-N Modem Router -- DGND3300 that incorporates an ADSL2+ modem paralleled with a Dual Band Wireless Router operating at both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It has greater bandwidth for high-quality media streaming and offers better support for online gaming. This Dual Band Wireless-N Modem Router can also be arranged as a wireless repeater to double the range. It applies automatic Quality of Service (QoS) for reliable Internet, voice and gaming applications. Also with the new multi-language installation wizard, Push 'N' Connect with WPS, and power saving features, this modem router is perfect for DSL users who need a single integrated wireless router and DSL modem device for their day-to-day networking needs.

The above said features in DGND3300 match mostly with the features with the Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router -- WNDR3700, the first product to bring out NetGear's sleek new fifth generation industrial design. It is also a simultaneous Dual Band router operating at 2.4 GHz and 5GHz, which is similar to the above discussed router. With Gigabit ports and a USB port, this router can connect an external USB storage device for high speed data access from multiple computers in the network. Earlier, complaints raised that WND3300 wireless router wasn't a true dual-band router, stating that it was only able to offer Draft N performance in one band at a time. So in order to overcome this issue, NetGear designed this WNDR3700 router which can be used as a true Dual-band router. This gadget also has the new Smart Wizard installation process that offers a multi-language graphical user interface.

Both the Netgear routers are versatile in serving the needs of media enthusiasts and the people On-the-Go in a satisfactory manner.
