From the opening of the parking garage of Louis David Carr, it is possible to charge electric cars in four special NRGSPOTS's. Until last October the charging is free. It was decided to extend this deadline to1 April 2012 as part of a nationwide campaign around the use of electric cars. These cars are working on a modest advance. More and more models on the market, the sales numbers are rising and there are more and more of these cars in Northern Holland. There is a response to the demand for social sustainability. In collaboration with Eneco there are four parking spaces with charging stations for electric cars. Here, owners of a car with green power charge their vehicle. Eneco has now spread across the Netherlands some 50 of these NRGSPOTS posted.
How does it works? The user logs on with a OV-chip card, the user is recognized and established, then the vehicle may be linked to the NRGSPOTS. Quick, easy and safe as the vehicle can only be disconnected after logoff same OV-chip card. Someone with a charging card, for example a card of the Amsterdam foundation or e-laad.nl can use all public charging points across the Netherlands until April 1, 2012 free of charge, including the Zandvoort. The North Holland municipal garage currently accommodates approximately 168 cars is open between 8.00 and 22.00. You can drive 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are four parking spaces for the disabled and there is a universally accessible toilet facility. North Holland is green.
