OSPF Simulation - Area Border Router (Interactive, Visual)
Q1. What is OSPF ABR?
Answer: ABR stands for Area Border Router. It connects area 0 and several other areas.
Q2. Why do we need ABR?
Answer. When there are too many routers in an OSPF network, flooding Router LSAs becomes a problem: It consumes too much network bandwidth and make LSDB very large. Just think of running 1000 OSPF routers. There will be 1000 Router LSAs to flood. To solve this problem, OSPF segments the network into smaller groups called areas. Now Router LSA flooding is confined to an area. ABR is a router that bridges several groups.
Q3. What does ABR do?
Answer: It discovers addresses in one group (area) and announces them to routers in other groups. This way, routers don't flood their Router LSAs across area borders but still able to discover network addresses located in other areas and reach them via ABR.
Q4. How does ABR announce network addresses to routers in other areas?
Answer: There are two situations to consider: (For simplicity, we use a simple topology: ABR uses link0 and link1 to connect to area 0 and 1 respectively.)
1) ABR creates Summary LSAs (link0, 1) and (link1, 0), and floods them in area 1, 0 respectively.
2) When a new subnet 10.1.1.0 is online in area 0, the attached router floods its Router LSA with this new address. When ABR receives this address, it creates Summary LSA (10.1.1.0, 1) and floods it.
This article is the FAQ part of an OSPF simulation: ABR. To see how an ABR announce network addresses across areas, go to the external link listed below.

Falcon Point Homes
Falcon Point homes are located in one of the more desired neighborhoods in the Katy area and has always enjoyed a reputation as a highly desireable address. Prior to the late1970's and very early 1980's Katy, Texas was just a rural, small town with life centered around agricultural pursuits - mainly rice farming with a bit of ranching thrown in for good measure. Dining choices were basically limited to the Country Kitchen, a typical "greasy spoon", Hard Times Barbeque or, if a Katy resident were willing to commute all the way over to Mason Road (a drive of over five miles), Nonmacher's Barbeque. The Country Kitchen opened early and was the natural gaqthering place for locals in the morning to have breakfast, coffee and share the latest news as well as the being the preferred spot for duck and goose hunters to congregate before and after the hunt.
Falcon Point homes have grown with the westward expansion of Houston, The Katy area gained the attention of developers and new residents of the area drawn by the economic growth and the abundance of high paying jobs in the oil and oil service industries. With the tremendous growth of engineering firms and the establishment of the "energy corridor" offices on the far west side of Houston, the demand for real estate it the Katy area began to grow exponentially and Falcon Point homes began to grow. Since much of the growth of employment centers was centered around I-10, the early residential expansion in the Katy area was generally focused on areas with easy access to that major traffic artery.
Some of the earliest residential developments in what is now referred to as the "greater Katy area" included Nottingham Country, Pin Oak Village and Falcon Point. Falcon Point was envisioned as an exclusive, country club community centered around a Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge designed golf course. The residential development surrounding the golf course was a 3 04 acre neighborhood with the stated objective of being a first class golf subdivision designed like Hunter's Run in Palm Beach. There are water hazards (at least one) on each of the eighteen holes of the golf course and these man made lakes provide the detention ponds for the residential community. The depth of these lakes is such that they provide an unusually cool atmosphere which enabled the bent grass greens to flourish.
Harvin Moore initially proposed the development and it was designed to target those elite golfers with a handicap in the 0 to 6 handicap range. At the time of initial development of Falcon Point, it was obvious that the club and the residential development would be a success because the nearest other members only club was Pine Forest and it had a lengthy waiting list for membership. There was an obvious need and a strong market for both the club and upscale residential neighborhood on the west side of Houston. Construction began in 1983 and opening day was October 10, 1984.
Initially, homes in Falcon Point were limited to very large (some over 6,000 square feet) custom homes and several of these were completed at or about the same time as the opening of the club. Unfortunately, the timing happened to coincide with what may reasonably be called the "Great Texas Real Estate Crash" of the early 1980's brought on by the decline of the oil industry and fueled by the Savings and Loan failures of the mid-eighties. The development of Falcon Point homes, along with development throughout the country, stalled and, ultimately, the development failed and was acquired by the government's Resolution Trust Company (RTC). Although the Club at Falcon Point continued to operate, residential construction was halted for a period of approximately eleven years until Houston Area Development Company purchased the development from the RTC, replatted the lots to a more manageable (and marketable) width of 80 feet and again began selling lots to homebuilders. Even then, the pace of sales at Falcon Point was relatively slow principally because the price point for real estate at Falcon Point was somewhat above average for the Katy real estate market area and also because access to the neighborhood was rather limited. In fact, there was only one way in and out of Falcon Point and except for golfers, few people were even aware of its' existence. One had to drive well past Fry and Mason Roads, exit I-10 at exit # 723 and wind back to the south and then east again on Katy/Ft. Bend Road to find the Falcon Point entrance with the imposing black granite monument sign, pond and two fountains.
It was not until the late 1990's with the completion of Grand Parkway and extension of Bay Hill Blvd. that Falcon Point homes became easily accessible and in increased demand. Following that, additional acreage was acquired outside the original Falcon Point to the east of Roessner Road and smaller lots (typically 55 and 60 foot widths were offered allowing for residential real estate at Falcon point at prices below $200,000.00. Also, a gated community of patio homes and smaller lots was opened within the original confines of the Falcon Point development. This proved extremely popular and was absorbed quickly. Finally, that portion of Falcon Point to the west of Bay Hill Blvd. and surrounding the back nine of the golf course was compl eted and was built out in short order.
With the improved access to the community and the increased awareness of the neighborhood, Falcon Point is no longer the best kept secret of Katy real estate and is a highly sought after residential destination. Falcon Point retains its' quiet, suburban feel and is well buffered from multi-housing and commercial development; yet is extremely convenient to shopping, dining, entertainment and major employment centers. Although all lots were absorbed and no new construction has been available for over five years, Falcon Point real estate remains in high demand. Despite the fact that Owners of Falcon Point Homes tend to stay in Falcon Point, a significant portion of the residents are professionals employed by oil companies and engineering firms with a tendency to transfer their employees. This assures a regular supply of properties on the market in Falcon Point to meet the market demand.
As an added benefit to resident s of Falcon Point homes, although the club remains a members only country club, the Falcon Point Homeowners Association has negotiated an agreement whereby Falcon Point homeowners have use of the swimming and tennis facilities of the club as part of their membership in the homeowner's association..

Three Basic steps To Setting Up A Wireless Network
Setting up a secure wireless network isn't necessarily as easy as manufactures of wireless network gear would like you to believe. When trying to follow the setup CD many people can become baffled and irritated. Many times people just simply throw in the towel and wind up having to have somebody else do it for them or even worse having to pay to for someone to get it done for them.
The setup CDs may look convenient but they are usually perplexing if you don't know what you're doing, and in many cases if you do they don't always work. The CDs also stop you from becoming familiar with what is actually going on in the background, so you've got no idea what you're actually doing. Make a simple mistake and you've got no idea what exactly went wrong or how to deal with it. Time to get professional help or call your nerdy pal.
The objective of this post is to help you be aware of the process so its possible to do it yourself and get it right everytime. When you're d one reading this article and viewing the videos below you will know how to setup just about any wireless device without needing to depend on the installation CDs or outside help. I provide links to vidoes on my blog which show exactly how to do this.
Once you fully understand how to set up a wireless router you will also be able to setup just about any wi-fi device on the market such as printers, game consoles, iPads and so forth.
You will find only 3 basic things you need to know to setup virtually any wifi device
Give it a name that means something to you and nothing to others. An abbreviation or name of your favorite team is a good example.
Security - A knowledge of what security is may help here. WEP or Wired Equivalent Privacy is the first and least effective form of wifi security. As time went by and computers became faster WEP turned out to be much easier to crack. Something else was needed. WPA and WPA2 came out next and are are both much more advanced and hard to break into than WEP. WPA2 was released only a few short months after WPA. WPA2 uses an even more robust form of security named AES. Some older operating systems and video games will only work with WEP. Only use WEP if you need to. If your router provides the choice to use both choose it when you have a mix and match of devices. If everything you have will work with WPA2, select WPA2 only. This is usually a very popular option when setting up security on a wireless router.
Passphrase - also know as "security password" or "security key". It's often confused with the router password. You use your router username and password to log on to the router not connect to the wireless network. The encryption key is what enables a computer, printer or other network device to connect or "associate" with the wi-fi router. You do not really pick what your WEP password is going to be. It is created for you after typing in a password you make up.. The result is normally scrambled into something such as "E321D567AF". You then need to type these hexidecimal characters into all of your wifi devices. User-friendly this isn't.. WPA and WPA2 don't generate difficult to memorize hex numbers like WEP does.. Any word, group of words or sentences will work. The spaces between the words in your sentence count as characters. Pass phrases are case sensitive so if a letter is capitalized on the router it needs to also be capitalized on all your devices or it's not going t o work.
Now that you are aware of the basic principles involved with wifi networking we should put them to use.
The next step is to access the wireless routers web user interface. You need three pieces of information so that you can access your wireless routers web user interface.
1. It's IP address. Commonly something like 192.168.1.1
2. The routers logon password.
3. Whether your computer or laptop is on the same network as the router.
IP Address
Your routers IP is more than likely something like 192.168.1.2 or 0.1 or 2.1. You can get this information from the guide which came with the wireless router or Googling your routers brand name along with the words "default IP address".
Username And Password
If you don't know your routers password try various combinations of "admin" and "password". Sometimes throwing in a blank in the login name or password field helps. If nothing works do a search on Google precisely like you did with the default IP address. A hard reset of the wireless router may be required in case it is previously owned and the password has been changed. You'll need a paper clip or small pin to reset the router. Simply push something in the little hole in the back of the wireless router and hold it there for about 30 seconds with the router still powered on. Once you release it the router wil l restart and return to it's factory default configuration settings and you will be able to use it's default account information to log on.
Are The Router And Laptop or computer On The Same Network?
Both the Computer and the wireless router have to be on the very same network to connect. Your router and PC need to be on the same network to talk. The rule is all network devices are required to be on the same network to communicate unless there is a specially configured router or switch set up to allow them to see each other. When you know your routers IP address you'll be able to compare it with your computers IP by going to the command prompt and typing in "IPCONFIG". The video lessons below demonstrate how to do this.
So if your computer or laptop isn't on the same network as the wireless router what now?
This is easily solved by using a network cable and a reboot of your computer.
The built-in DHCP server in the router will automatically send the pc an IP address that is on the same network as the router and they'll have the ability to connect!
Since the difficult parts are taken care of you're ready simply connect to the router and enter in our security information. To do this simply:
1.Start your favorite browser and type in the routers IP address. Hit ENTER.
2. Enter in the password.
3. Sift through the menus until you find the "Wireless Security" section of your router and key in what ever you prefer for the SSID and passphrase.
You're all done. Your router is now secure!
Now it's a simple matter of entering the very same information into all of your wireless devices. Of many devices it is just a simple matter of finding your SSID, simply clicking on it and typing in your pass phrase.
You now know the fundamentals you can setup a wireless network without any help and connect just about any wifi product to it. No matter whether you are setting up a Wireless G router, a Wireless N Router, a wi-fi printer, an ipad device or iPod the concepts are identical.

Citrix Access Gateway
Through its Web-deployed, auto-updating client Citrix Access Gateway is easy to use, fast and cost-effective to set up and maintain. Organizations can simply supply their remote and mobile users with desk-like access from whichever location they are at, without the cost and difficulty of installing, configuring, updating and supporting client software on all devices.
Citrix Access Gateway is a protected application access solution that provides administrators withgranular application-level control and at the same time offers users with access from any location. This system also allows IT administrators to take command of access and actions based on both the user and the endpoint device from a single point of control, providing better risk, compliance management and security.
With Citrix's SmartAccess technology (which is patent-pending) administrators can control access and actions depending on both the user and the endpoint device. For instance, a user may have full access to a set of files when using their office PC (read, save locally, print, etc.) however they may be restricted to "read-only" access when connecting through an unrecognised "kiosk" device. Equally, if an employee tries to access the corporate network via a home PC that is not equipped with an active anti-virus update service, that employee may not be able to log into certain mission-critical systems. Though with SmartAccess, administrators are given complete flexibility in developing and employing corporate security policies.
Citrix Access Gateway routinely and effortlessly reconnects users to their applications and documents when they go to a different location or device, and gives users at any location an identical access that they would of experienced if they were at their desktop. For example, if a worker is connected at a customer location, he may then close his laptop and disconnect from the network, return to the office, and then be automatically reconnected all without a single keystroke.
Whether your organisation is small or large, the flexible delivery model will produce an exceptional secure access solution that will benefit your company.Citrix Access Gateway delivers industry-leading consistency and scalability from 1 to more than 10,000 concurrent users per appli ance.
Being equipped with end-point scanning guarantees user devices stay safe for connection to the corporate network. Access policies establish the level of user access, based on administrator-defined rules and end-point analysis.
Access Gateway provides the most comprehensive access experience for everyone: secure access to corporate data for the business, easy access for users, and simple administration and low costs for access for IT.
There are three different editions of Citrix Access Gateway available, so you can reap the benefits no matter the size of your organisation.

Next-generation access in the Netherlands Market Research Report
In our previous analysis of the Netherlands, we pointed out the potential for the development of a viable open access market, due to the activity of a number of infrastructure players and municipalities. However, there were major barriers including lack of scale, a fragmented market, and stiff competition from cable operators and the incumbent, KPN. Since then, there have been a number of key developments which have either eased or even removed these barriers and triggered the deployment of open access (predominately at a passive level) on a large scale. The most significant of these is the joint venture between KPN and Reggefiber, which is another example of incumbents taking on a more collaborative approach towards investment which is highly capex-intensive.
The Netherlands is also of interest in terms of operators showing a clear preference for point-to-point FTTH where open access networks are being deployed. In many other markets, passive optical networks (PONs) have become the technology of choice. The widespread deployment of P2P has been supported by OPTA, which has been proactive in promoting open access on a large scale in order to better facilitate competitor access to fiber access networks. This includes a cost-orientated price control obligation for unbundled access to the fiber (optical distribution frame ODF) access network.
Joint venture activity has become central to the development of next-generation access (NGA) in the Netherlands. The country's NGA players have benefited from a clear regulatory NGA framework provided by the regulator, OPTA, which crucially included pricing clarity. The hook-up between incumbent KPN and infrastructure specialist Reggefiber means that more than 2 million homes (at least one-quarter of households) should have access to point-to-point-based FTTH broadband by 2013. In addition to Amsterdam's open access network, there are a number of smaller FTTH networks instigated by muni cipalities. Elsewhere, KPN is rolling out FTTC. High-speed cable broadband also plays a central role, with major players UPC and Ziggo offering between 25Mbps and 120Mbps.

National Parks Offer Affordable And Accessible Fun
National parks and family vacations just seem to go hand in hand. In fact, most people over the age of 35 have at least one fond childhood memory of a national park family vacation. Today, many parents long to recreate that magical childhood vacation experience with their own children; but at the same time they worry about appropriate access. Are our national parks really wheelchair-accessible? The answer is a qualified "yes." Access varies from park to park, so advance planning is a must; however, generally speaking most national parks are a great choice for accessible and affordable family fun.
Finding appropriate accessible lodging is a prime concern for many national park visitors. Camping is the traditional way to enjoy a national park, and some national parks have accessible campsites. Most often, "accessible," means the campground has a level campsite, accessible parking and an accessible bathroom. Some national parks go a bit further and have specialty campsites. For example, Rocky Mountain National Park offers accessible back country camping at the Handicamp at Sprague Lake.
Some national parks also have lodges or hotels within the park. Although these facilities are required to be accessible under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, accessible rooms are often limited and difficult to reserve. Sometimes the best option is to look for accessible lodging close to a national park. On the plus side, lodging located just outside of national parks is usually cheaper than the in-park choices.
Accessible facilities and tra ils vary from park to park, but most parks offer at least an accessible visitors center. Many parks also offer accessible interpretive trails near the visitors center. Some parks, like the Everglades go a bit further. Although this park is composed largely of swamp and marsh areas, there are a number accessible boardwalk trails throughout the Everglades, including the Anhinga Trail. This half-mile boardwalk winds through sawgrass pines and is home to a wealth of bird life. It's also a great place to get an up-close-and-personal look at the resident alligators.
Over in Yosemite National Park, the newest access upgrade was unveiled in April 2005 -- the culmination of the massive ten-year $13.5 million Yosemite Falls Restoration Project. Designed by the same landscape architect who worked on the FDR Memorial in Washington DC, the project includes a new 3/4-mile paved trail to the bridge at lower Yosemite Falls. The gentle grade allows for wheelchair-access and the wi de trail has many pull outs, resting spots and benches along the way. Indeed, for the first time there is barrier-free access to the base of Yosemite Falls.
Crater Lake National Park has varied accessibility; and the wheelchair-accessible Rim Village Trail and Watchman Overlook provide stunning views of the lake. And over in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, visitors can walk or roll along the Cades Cove Loop on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from May until September. During this time, this 11 mile loop is closed to automobile traffic; and it's one of the most scenic trails in the park. And Although the natural entrance to Carlsbad Caverns is not accessible, visitors can reach the Big Room by elevator. This huge cavern has spectacular rock formations, and a large section of it is wheelchair-accessible
No matter which national park you choose to visit, advance research is a must. The best place to start is on the National Park Service website (which is NPS dot gov). Some parks have access information listed, while others only have contact phone numbers. Sometimes you just have to pick up the phone and talk directly with a park employee to find out about access.
Park rangers can also be a good source of access information. For example, even though I've frequented Yosemite National Park for over 40 years, last year a park ranger clued me in about the access at Washburn Point. Located just a half mile below Glacier Point, Washburn Point is nicely accessible, has spectacular views and is less crowded than nearby Glacier Point. The ranger was well-versed in access issues because his sister is a wheelchair-user. Remember, it never hurts to ask about access. You might just be surprised by the answers you get.
Finally, don't forget about the America the Beautiful Access Pass, which you can find at the NPS website, it's a lifetime pass for free admission to all national parks, monuments, historic sites, recreation areas and wildlife refuges. This money saving pass is available free to any US resident with a permanent disability, and it can be obtained at any Nati onal Park entrance. Don't leave home without your America the Beautiful Access Pass.

Safety First Within An Access Control Card
When people talk about job security they are usually discussing how likely they are to be fired. The other kind of job security is often overlooked but it should be a major concern. When you are working in a commercial establishment like a bank you will note that thousands of people can come and go as they please through the doors. Yet there are areas within the building that they should never be allowed to enter. Control points should be in place which allow only those with the requisite access control card to enter. If your workplace doesn't have one of those then it is high time that you asked for one. There is no reason why you should ever feel threatened at work so be sure to ask your manager about control points.
In the old days, keys were the be all and end all of security measures. If you wanted to feel secure you simply locked a door. Yet as thieves have evolved, the need for greater security has increased. The vast majority of thieves are able to pick a lock with relative ease which is why measures like HID access cards are so necessary. You may notice that hotels and similar establishments now operate a card swipe system which proves that keys are almost obsolete. While traditionalists may point out that thieves are also able to deal with electronic locks, at least there is a challenge. The control points of different companies will have unique methods of unlocking doors whereas once you have picked one manmade lock you can pick them all.
The level of security used by organizations naturally depends on the amount of employees they have, the number of visitors they have and the information and finance that they are trying to protect. Somewhere like a military HQ for example will have a number of different checkpoints with one access control card unlikely to be enough. A regular company that works from an office building will probably have a control point for all employees and one or two others which will only a llow executives entry to restricted areas of the building.
Of course it will not always be a door that requires an access control card. Control points can also consist of gates or elevators as long as they provide a stiff barrier. Control points that are activated by electronic means possess a fantastic amount of information. If you are an employee of a company, your information should be on the company's computer database. If your details are not accurate, you will not be allowed to go beyond the control point. Very occasionally, someone from the security team will make a mistake so if they do, it's up to you to point it out immediately to alleviate any confusion.
Without HID access cards and proper electronic security, an organization is placing itself at serious risk of infiltration from hackers or agents from another company who wish to steal sensitive information from you. So if you're an executive of a business, be sure that your company's restric ted areas and files are not in danger of falling into the wrong hands.

Can't access 192.168.1.1?
In today's existence, nearly everyone of necessity a router for some affair or another. The well-nigh bad work of a router is to provide tuner Internet throughout your place. The trouble is, even so, that many people purchase a router because they were differentiated to do so away a complete mean and past they take no idea what to do with it. In this article, we leave behind talk nigh 192.168.1.1, the nonremittal name where most all routers emcee their find out gore. Later On meter reading this article, you leave not single be an accomplished on utilizing your router, merely you testament also own a much wider sharp of the affairs that clear up your router's joining, such as IP addresses, NAT devices for own meshes, the router find panel known as 192.168.1.1, background up radio receiver meshings, and how to fix troubles if anything works outside.
What Are IP Names
An IP Treat, or Internet Protocol Deal, is the silent association that all computers an d devices must remark into the cyberspaces in society to join to a certain webpage. While web covers are usually carried in the arena name formatting (/), that entanglement reference in reality heads to a serial of dactyls (such as 192.168.1.1) that tell the web browser which host to expect for, which directory to see for, and which subdirectory to feeling for. IP calls in that shape may seem throwing to many users and are touchy to learn, which is why field names have get so favorite.
An NAT gimmick, such as a router, is sunset to stop nets communicating betwixt your ISP (Internet Serve Provider) and the distinct computing devices that you let setup in your house. An NAT gimmick only dishes as a main access point to the Cyberspace and gives its own IP reference while the computers in your network are considered subdirectories of that IP address. When you memory access the Net from one of the electronic computers in your meshwork, your data processor beams the inf ormat to the NAT device which then relays it to the Net. This is through to forestall any mental confusion about which figurer transmitted the information or where the data should be transmitted to. If you just have one calculator associated to the Internet, you will not take an NAT gimmick.
192.168.1.1 is the nonpayment IP address that most all routers and other NAT devices use to allow the user get at to the determine control board. To get to your router's control impanel and configure it to the way you want, all you make to do is clear an Internet browser untold as Nets Explorer, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, and eccentric in 192.168.1.1 in your browser's deal bar at the elevation of the paginate. No one wide of your network is able to get at your one control control board. Rather, they give be mailed to their have got router's control panel, forward they make one. Not all routers and NAT twists use 192.168.1.1 as their control panel's IP reference so if t his exercises not shape on your router, only seek for your router's sword name and IP address on any search engine.

Is It Safe to Use a Refurbished Cisco Router?
Cisco has produced quite a number of excellent routers over the years. The quality of such routers has long since driven their popularity in the market. You simply cannot survive in a competitive environment for so long and remain an industry leader without providing high grade technical equipment that satisfies customers. Most would agree this is the case with brand new routers offered by Cisco. But what about refurbished routers that are for sale? Can they deliver on the same expectations of quality that a brand new router is able to?
Most importantly, is it safe to use such a router?
Safety can mean different things to different people. For some, safety can refer to the smooth operation of the router. In other words, they are wondering if it is safe to rely on the operational performance of a refurbished router, Others may ask this question in a literal sense. They may fear a mechanical defect that can lead to problems such a s the router overheating and becoming a fire hazard. Concerns along these lines may be valid but are they really well founded?
Before answering that question, it is necessary to clearly define what a refurbished router is. Such a router would be one that was returned to the manufacturer due to defects. The problems with the router were repaired and now the router is available for resale at an enormous discount. In some instances, a refurbished router can be purchased at a discount of upwards of 80%. That is a tremendous savings for the budget conscious.
Questions about the safety of a refurbished Cisco router will still remain. For those with such concerns, the only way to be confident that a refurbished Cisco router is a reliable one would be to look towards who is selling it. The reputation of the seller will generally give you a clear indication as to the safety level of the router.
In general, it is best to purchase refurbished Cisco routers either directly from Cisco or from a well- established distributor of such routers. Why is this? When you buy from these sources, there are a few quality assurance aspects adhered to.
First, a quality seller will be sure to test the equipment to make sure it is completely reliable and functional. The router will not just be released onto the market with a casual attitude in regards to whether or not it will work. Again, rigorous testing will be employed to make sure the router works as is intended.
A reliable seller will also maintain that the system possesses the same safety requirements and regulations that the FCC and UL would impose on new routers released to the market. Anyone with serious issues regarding the safety of these devices should pay strict attention to whether or not such standards are still met by the refurbished router.
A warranty should be provided with each purchase. This way, if a problem does arise the seller will honour the warranty saving the buyer from any losses.
The safety of a refurbished Cisco router rests in the standards of the seller and the manufactur er. Never lose sight of this fact when making a purchase and you won't be disappointed.

What are the ways of setting up numerous wireless routers?
Wireless routers are the first choice of the PC users who wish to enjoy high speed internet network. The wireless router for the consumers is specifically designed so that you can enjoy a speedy internet connection in a multiple number of computer systems. Any computer within the broadcast signal range of your wireless router will have the same speed of internet connectivity like the other computers in the same network. PC repair companies are available in the market that can assist you in setting the router.
Setting up manifold wireless routers in the same area offers you two options you can make independent separate wireless networking so that each of the devices can have internet access or you can extend the range of wireless signal. For instance, using a number of wireless routers offers you the privilege to create separate private network system for the business purpose and separate public network system for customers and clients.
For setting up the numerous wireless routers, you have to contact the remote technical support company. Here is also provided the ways of setting up the network. Have a quick look at the section below and make an attempt to set the connection yourself.
Router Setting for One Network
You have to set up single router as the 'root' which will directly connect to your internet connection. You can use the strongest router or the newest one as the root but there is no hard and fast rule for that. Next, set the connection of the Ethernet cable from LAN port of your extra router to your PC's Ethernet port. After you have established the connection, you have to log into the Web interface of the extra router and disable in-built DHCP server.
Now, change its wireless settings to some other SSID apart from the root router and disconnect your Ethernet cable. Next, you have to connect one Ethernet cable from LAN port of root router to LAN port of extra router. Repeat the same process for the other extra routers and then connect to necessary router. You can have the same network for all the devices and can access the Internet and also each other. If you are stuck at any place, get the professional assistance from online computer support.
Router setting for Separated Networks
The first step of setting one router as the root is similar to that of the other setup. Then take one end of the Ethernet cable and connect it to the LAN port of your root router and the other end to the WAN or Internet port of second router. Now, power on your second router. Any device which is connected to your second router is placed on a separate network and will not be able to access the other devices which are connected to your root router. However, each of the PC systems or the devices has internet connection.
The same steps have to be repeated for additional routers as well. If you are not confident in doing it alone, computer services are there to cater to your needs.
